Welcome to our new employees!

Chris has worked for us in the past and we are glad to have him back! He also coached the UW LaCrosse Women's Gymnastics team. He will be coaching our boys team gymnasts. Chris was a high school gymnasts himself and has a passion for teach and a passion for gymnastics, so coaching gymnastics is a perfect hit for him. He also enjoys disc golf, lifting weights and reading comic books. Welcome back Chris!

Ellie has been a gymnast here at Jam Hops for the past 9 years and is currently on the Xcel Platinum team.

She will be coaching preschool and recreational classes. Ellie wants to coach here at Jam Hops because, " I want to see the kids grow and get better at the sport and achieve new skills!"

Some of her hobbies include; Gymnastics, Volleyball, and Dance. She is a Sophomore at Andover HS.

Anne was a competitive gymnast until she was 16 years old and ended as a level 10. She will be coaching our recreational gymnastics classes. When asked why she wants to coach, Anne said, "I love the sport. It taught me so much and I want others to share in the same experience." Anne also enjoys running, hiking, camping and anything having to do with the water. Welcome to Jam Hops Anne!

We are currently hiring for:

Boys gymnastics jo team assistant coach/rec. gymnastics coach

Position description:
This position requires providing quality gymnastics instruction to athletes in a competitive & recreational gymnastics environment, while also recruiting team members. There is some travel involved and weekend competitions during meet season.

1) Our competitive coaches provide quality gymnastics instruction through a structured, competitive, and high-energy learning environment.

2) Preferred knowledge of advanced skills, drills, conditioning exercises, and techniques for the USAG Junior Olympic program levels 4 through 10.

3) Our coaches are responsible for ensuring the program represents an exceptional value to the customer and providing excellent customer service.

4) Assistant coach is responsible for testing and finding new team members for our J.O. Boys Team. This requires coaching and being highly involved in the recreational boys program.

Preferred Qualifications:
Coaching experience compulsory/optional Levels 4-10 (if not, will teach)
Knowledge of USAG J.O. program (if not, will teach)
Excellent communications skills with athletes, coaches, and parents
Works well with a team of coaches

Able to perform independently as well as part of a team
Strong communication skills and attention to detail
Preferred management/supervisory skills
Organized and strong ability to meet deadlines
Self-directed learner

Gymnastics Coach

  • Part-time and full-time opportunities available coaching various levels of gymnastics.  
  • Variety of day/evening and weekend hours based on need and availability.  Mostly in need of Friday/Saturday coaches.
  • Experience with coaching or involvement in gymnastics is preferred but not required.

Some of the other employment positions we have are:

Cheer Coach

  • 10-15 hours per week with the possibility of more hours if desired
  • Competitive cheer background required
  • Tumbling experience a plus, but not necessary

Customer Care Representatives

  • Approximately 5-10 hours per week working at our Customer Service Office.  
  • Answering phones, helping customers with registration and a wide variety of other tasks.  
  • Must be available evenings and some Saturdays and have a high school diploma.
  • If you are a positive, energetic person and LOVE helping people, then this is the position for you!! You do not have to have customer service experience.

Gymnastics/After School Care Coach

  • Approximately 15-20 hours per week working with our Davinci after school care program and coaching gymnastics.  
  • Hours would be 3-6pm most days and possibly available Friday evenings and Saturdays.  
  • Job duties include supervising children in our gym and doing crafts and playing games with them.
  • Experience with coaching or involvement in gymnastics is preferred but not required.
