Jam Hops Dance Company is growing and looking for qualified candidates to join our staff! A part-time teaching opportunity is available for candidates who are 18 years old or older, have a passion for dance and love being around and teaching children!
We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and loves working with children to be a part-time cheer coach for approximately 4-5 hours per week. You must be 18 years of age or older and have some cheer experience. Let us know if you are interested by filling out the application below.
Qualified candidates should be 15 years old or older, like to have fun, have an endless amount of high energy, love being around and teaching children. This position would work approximately 5-10 hours per week.
Ninja Zone is a fusion of obstacle training, gymnastics, martial arts and freestyle movement. Experience in any of the above elements is beneficial but not a requirement. We would love to hire and train the right people.

Nicole will be a Ninja Instructor and Cheer Coach at Jam Hops. She is looking forward to teaching and helping kiddos become better and getting new skills. She was a cheerleader herself too and brings a lot of energy and positive attitude to Jam Hops. Nicole also enjoys hanging out with friends and taking pictures.
Sophie will be a dance assistant at Jam Hops. She is excited to help kids grow their love for dance and is excited to work with children. Sophie will be in 9th grade this year and is on the Blaine Dance Team. She has been dancing at Jam Hops for 6 years. Sophie also enjoys cooking, sleeping, hanging out with friends and traveling. Josie will be coaching gymnastics classes. She does high school gymnastics at Andover High School and has also been a Jam Hops gymnast in the past. She said she loves gymnastics and loves working with kids so this is like a dream job. Josie also enjoys softball and volunteering in the community. Welcome Josie!
Lizzy will be working at Jam Hops as a gymnastics coach. She is excited to work with kids and teach them what she has learned from gymnastics as she has been a gymnast at Jam Hops for 7 years with part of that time being an Xcel team gymnast. Lizzy also enjoys hanging out with friends, watching movies and being outside. Welcome Lizzy!
Jill will be working at Jam Hops as an administrative assistant. Jill is excited to work with an upbeat staff and for a company that impacts kids and families in such a positive way. She has a daughter that is in the Xcel gymnastics program and a son in dance, so she has been part of Jam Hops as a family already. Jill has been an elementary school teacher and will continue to substitute teach for the Anoka Hennepin school district. She also enjoys spending time with family boating and playing games, exercising, and she is looking forward to taking tap dance lesson at Jam Hops. Welcome Jill!
Tammy will be working as a dance teacher at Jam Hops. She is excited about meeting new dance and gymnastics friends and teaching new students. She said, "I love kids". Tammy has been teaching dance and gymnastics for 25 years. She danced at various dance schools growing up and received a dance scholarship to Chapman University. She also owned her own dance studio in Montevideo for 10 years. Tammy also enjoys shopping and playing with her kids. Welcome Tammy!
Joanna will be a recreational gymnastics coach for all levels. She is new to coaching at Jam Hops, but was a coach at Gymnastics Galaxy for 7 years. She has a daughter currently on the JO level 3 gymnastics team and has another daughter that was a Jam Hops gymnast through level 9. Joanna is looking forward to watching how excited kids get when they finally master a skill. She also enjoys camping, spending time with family and fishing. Welcome Joanna!
Lexi is excited to be a dance instructor at Jam Hops as she has been a dancer here for 13 years. She is most excited to teach kids everything she has learned. Lexi also enjoys watching movies and reading. Welcome Lexi!
Ben will be working at Jam Hops as a dance teacher. He has been dancing since he was 12 years old at Larkin and at the Classical Ballet Academy and Ballet Minnesota. He is a professional ballet dancer for Continental Ballet Company and will be performing as "The Nutcracker Prince" this holiday season! Ben is excited to work with our awesome staff and kids in what he says is a very highly organized environment. Ben also enjoys gardening, watching cheesy TV shows and spending time with friends. Lydia will be a dance assistant at Jam Hops. She is excited to teach kids something she already loves to do as she has been dancing at Jam Hops for 7 years. Lydia also enjoys singing, acting and hanging out with her friends. Welcome Lydia!
Sonja will be a dance assistant at Jam Hops and has been dancing here herself for 12 years. She is very excited to work with the younger kids. She also enjoys competitive dance and hanging out with family and friends. Sonja is going into 8th grade. Welcome Sonja!
Ashley has been working at Jam Hops for about 4 months now as a Ninja and Gymnastics coach. She was a gymnast herself for about 7 years at Gymnastics Galaxy. Ashley now plays softball and also enjoys shopping. She said she likes seeing the joy on kids faces when they get a new skill. Congratulations Ashley!
