We are currently hiring for:

Gymnastics Coaches

  • Part-time and full-time opportunities available coaching various levels of gymnastics.  
  • Variety of day/evening and weekend hours based on need and availability.  Mostly in need of Friday/Saturday coaches.
  • Experience with coaching or involvement in gymnastics is preferred but not required.

Camp/Events/Outreach Instructor

  • This position can be part-time or full time.
  • Hours are mainly daytime with the possibility of a few Saturdays.  
  • We are looking for someone that loves working with kids and is full of energy.
  • No coaching experience necessary. 

Some of the other employment positions we have are:

Customer Care Representatives

  • Approximately 5-10 hours per week working at our Customer Service Office.  
  • Answering phones, helping customers with registration and a wide variety of other tasks.  
  • Must be available Friday evenings, Saturdays and Sundays and have a high school diploma.
  • If you are a positive, energetic person and LOVE helping people, then this is the position for you!! You do not have to have customer service experience.

Dance Instructor

Jam Hops Dance Company is growing and looking for qualified candidates to join our staff! A part-time teaching opportunity is available for candidates who are 18 years old or older, have a passion for dance and love being around and teaching children!

 

Cheer Coach

We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and loves working with children to be a part-time cheer coach for approximately 4-5 hours per week. You must be 18 years of age or older and have some cheer experience. Let us know if you are interested by filling out the application below.

NINJA ZONE INSTRUCTORS!!

Qualified candidates should be 15 years old or older, like to have fun, have an endless amount of high energy, love being around and teaching children. This position would work approximately 5-10 hours per week.

Ninja Zone is a fusion of obstacle training, gymnastics, martial arts and freestyle movement. Experience in any of the above elements is beneficial but not a requirement. We would love to hire and train the right people.

Employee of the Month for December!

Maddie was a gymnast herself at Jam Hops for 12 years and competed on our JO competitive gymnastics team and has been coaching now for 1.5 years. She loves making gymnastics a fun place for the kids she coaches and watching them grow as gymnasts and people throughout the years. Maddie was chosen for her great communication with parents, subbing for others often, her great tone and demeanor with kids, excellent class control and she is very present and engaged when she is here at Jam Hops. Congratulations Maddie!

welcome to our new employees!

Laura will be coaching our cheer classes. She is excited to help the Jam Hops cheerleaders learn and have fun. Laura is currently an All-Star Cheerleader at Northern Elite in Bloomington and has been a cheerleader herself for 4 years. She also enjoys spending time with friends, reading and art.  Welcome Laura!

We are excited to have Emma on board with us to teach dance classes. She has been a dancer for 13 years at Twin Cities Ballet, Jeffrey Chicago, Collide Theatrical and the Jazz Dance Company. She also briefly went to school at SPCA. She is excited to work and learn with the kids and get ready for the recital! Emma is also an actor and enjoys making short films and she loves girl bands. Welcome Emma!

Welcome to Maggie as a new dance instructor! Maggie is excited to meet with all the dancers, their families and staff at Jam Hops while exploring the fabulous world of dance with them.  Maggie has been a dancer for 20 years at the Pat Peare School of Dance, Terps, Butterfield Gallery of Dance and Larkin.  She attended Webster University to receive h er BA in Business and BFA in Dance. She is passionate about the performing arts world and her and her husband have their own dance and theater company together called M-SHE Productions.  Maggie also enjoys reading, writing, singing, performing, photography, and playing with her two awesome kids.

Carlyne will be working as a gymnastics coach at Jam Hops. She was a gymnast herself for about 11 years at Jam Hops. She is excited to work here and build relationships with the kids. She also enjoys reading, baking and babysitting. Carlyne is very hard working and feels like she works well with kids of all ages. Welcome Carlyne!

Suzie is excited to be a Ninja Zone coach at Jam Hops as she loves hanging out with kids. She said she has a lot of energy and likes to have fun and will bring that with her when she coaches. She likes playing sports and hanging out with friends. Welcome Suzie!

Nicole will be a Ninja Instructor and Cheer Coach at Jam Hops. She is looking forward to teaching and helping kiddos become better and getting new skills. She was a cheerleader herself too and brings a lot of energy and positive attitude to Jam Hops. Nicole also enjoys hanging out with friends and taking pictures.

Sophie will be a dance assistant at Jam Hops. She is excited to help kids grow their love for dance and is excited to work with children. Sophie will be in 9th grade this year and is on the Blaine Dance Team. She has been dancing at Jam Hops for 6 years. Sophie also enjoys cooking, sleeping, hanging out with friends and traveling. Welcome Sophie!

Josie will be coaching gymnastics classes. She does high school gymnastics at Andover High School and has also been a Jam Hops gymnast in the past. She said she loves gymnastics and loves working with kids so this is like a dream job. Josie also enjoys softball and volunteering in the community. Welcome Josie!

Lizzy will be working at Jam Hops as a gymnastics coach. She is excited to work with kids and teach them what she has learned from gymnastics as she has been a gymnast at Jam Hops for 7  years with part of that time being an Xcel team gymnast. Lizzy also enjoys hanging out with friends, watching movies and being outside. Welcome Lizzy!
