Cheer Coach (anoka/ramsey)

We hire cheer coaches who are enthusiastic and love working with children!

  • Part-time opportunities available working 5-10 hours per week.
  • Must be available evenings and occasional weekends.
  • Experience with coaching or involvement in cheer is required.
  • Candidates should be 16 years of age or older. 
  • Besides coaching cheer classes, this position may also work at other special events such as open gym, skill clinics, movie nights, Camptastic and others.

Competitive Gymnastics Coaches (Anoka/Ramsey)

We are seeking part-time (potential full-time hours available), reliable, compassionate, energetic people to coach in our competitive gymnastics program. We offer competitive pay based on experience. If you believe you have these traits and can bring enthusiasm, compassion, dedication and fun to our program, please complete an online application and submit three character references.

  • Competitive experience Preferred in USAG levels 3-7, but not required. Willing to train right person

Recreational Gymnastics Coaches (Blaine/Ham Lake)

We have great opportunities for people looking to get involved in gymnastics through coaching. Whether you were a gymnast, are the parent of a gymnast, or have no experience in the sport, we can train you to be a gymnastics coach!

  • Part time opportunities available coaching various levels of gymnastics.
  • Must be available evenings and possibly weekends
  • Experience with coaching or involvement in gymnastics is preferred, but not required.
  • Candidates should be 16 years of age or older. 
  • Besides coaching gymnastics classes, this position will also work at other special events such as open gym, skill clinics, Movie Nights, Camptastic and others.

Ninja Zone Coach (blaine/ham lake)

Qualified candidates should be 16 years old or older, like to have fun, have an endless amount of high energy, love being around and teaching children. This position would work approximately 5-10 hours per week.

Ninja Zone is a fusion of obstacle training, gymnastics, martial arts and freestyle movement. Experience in any of the above elements is beneficial but not a requirement. We would love to hire and train the right people. 

Besides coaching Ninja Zone classes, this position will also work at other special events such as open gym, Ninja Clinics, Movie Nights, Camptastic and others.

Preschool Gymnastics Coordinator (Blaine/Ham Lake)

We are seeking a part-time, reliable, compassionate, energetic person to be our Preschool Gymnastics Coordinator. The strategic importance of this role to Jam Hops is to support the Gymnastics Director and  Recreational Gymnastics Program to ensure a smooth running, growing program. We offer competitive pay based on experience. If you believe you have these traits and can bring enthusiasm, compassion, dedication and fun to our program, please complete an online application and submit three character references.

Prep time allotment: 8-10 hours per week, plus hours of coaching preschool classes.

This includes but is not limited to the following responsibilities:

  • Preschool Room set-up,lesson planning and cleaning (bi-weekly)
  • Address parent concerns for preschool gymnasts and coaches
  • Assist with orientation and training for new staff
  • Assist in planning and organization of Spring Show
  • Organize training clinics for preschool gymnastics coaches
  •  Floating in classes and training preschool staff
  • Other duties as assigned

Camptastic + Coach

We are seeking a part-time (10-15 hours per week), reliable, compassionate, energetic person to coach for our Camptastic + program. Camptastic + is a new program we are offering where children attend Jam Hops M-F from 8am-4pm and you would be responsible for caring for these children. Some of your responsibilities will be supervising homework time (not teaching), open gym time in our spacious gym, outdoor activities, science experiments, crafts, reading time, play time and more. Our Camp Coordinator plans many of the activities and the coach follows a daily schedule supplied by the Camp Coordinator. We offer competitive pay based on experience.   • Gymnastics background preferred, but not necessary. Willing train the right person.
  • Ability to work well and compassionately with children.
  • Available to work M-F varying shifts of 8-12 and/or 12-4 (or tell us what you are available for).

  • Ability to start as soon as possible.

Ninja Zone Director (Blaine/Ham Lake)

We are seeking a part-time (potential full-time hours available), reliable, compassionate, energetic person to direct and coach in our Ninja Zone program. The Ninja Zone is a fusion of obstacle training, gymnastics, martial arts and freestyle movement. Our Ninja Zone coaches are responsible for leading and supervising classes with children as young as 18 months old. As a director you would be responsible for overseeing the program to ensure a smooth running, growing program. We offer competitive pay based on experience. If you believe you have these traits and can bring enthusiasm, compassion, dedication and fun to our program, please complete an online application and submit three character references.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Understanding of the Ninja Zone program (willing to train the right person)
  • Dependable
  • A great personality
  • Able to interact well with children/teens/adults
  • Prior experience in or an understanding of gymnastics, obstacle course training, martial arts, parkour is a plus but we will ALWAYS train the right person.
  • Different children respond to different teaching styles, so we are looking for all kinds of different people!
  • 1 - 2 years coaching experience (any sport: Martial arts and/or gymnastics experience are preferred but not required.)
  • Ability to work occasional weekend hours
  • Dependable: Is able to meet deadlines 
  • Enthusiastic: Has a passion for what they do and shares that with students and families 
  • Problem solver: Recognizes obstacles and can develop solutions 
  • Achievement-oriented: Enjoys taking on challenges

Cheer Director (anoka/ramsey)

We are seeking a part-time (potential full time hours available if desired), reliable, compassionate, energetic person to work with our recreational Cheer program. We offer competitive pay based on experience. Position Information:

  • Part-time: 7+ hours per week coaching and 5 - 10 hours per week administrative responsibilities (potential full time hours available if desired)
  • Must be available evenings and occasional weekends
  • The right person is reliable, compassionate, energetic and LOVES kids!!
  • Responsible for our recreational Cheer program
  • Understanding of USASF Cheer and Safety guidelines preferred
  • 1 - 2 years prior Cheer coaching experience preferred
  • Knowledge of all ability levels

Customer Care Representative (will work at both locations)

Qualified candidates should be 18 years old or older, have a positive and friendly attitude, and have exemplary customer service skills. This position requires a commitment of 10 hours per week.

Customer Care Representatives perform many tasks including, but not limited to:

  • answering phones and emails
  • greeting families
  • registering students for desired programs
  • facilitate tours of the building
  • knowledgeable about all Jam Hops Programs
  • light cleaning duties
