Children's Cancer Fundraiser at Jam Hops

@ our Blaine/Ham Lake location

DJ DREW will be joining us at Jam Hops for a dance party, open gym, movie, & pizza night extravaganza to reach our goal of donating $10,000 to the Children's Cancer Research Fund!

We are also calling this event Date Night for a Cause because it makes the perfect two hour window to drop off the kids and grab some dinner! Of course the cost of dropping off the kids at the event also goes to a great cause!

EVENT DETAILS:

  • 5:30 - 7:30 PM @ our Blaine/Ham Lake location
  • Cost: $35 All proceeds donated to Children's Cancer Research Fund
  • Ages: 18 mo. - 18 yrs.
    • *Parent participation is required for children 18 mo. - 4 yrs.*
  • Pizza, drinks and dessert will be served at the event
  • Parents can choose to have pizza and a drink at the event for $10
  • Cost includes 1 piece of Jets pizza, a drink, and dessert

Pre-registration for the event and pizza is required

Event layout for Ages 18mo. - 4yrs.:

Parent participation is required (1 parent per child)

  • Children in this age group will spend their time doing Open Gym in our engaging and fun preschool room.
  • You, OR your child will be given a wristband color that will match the color of one of our amazing coaches! That will be your go-to person for any questions and will be who will guide you to dinner, and the DJ Party. 
  • Dinner time: 5:30 - 5:50 PM
    • Parents that choose to eat at the event will be given their own wristband and can get their food at any time during the event.
  • DJ Party: 6:30 - 7:00 PM
  • Movie Night: We will have a fun, child-friendly movie playing in Studio 1 & 2 throughout the event. You and your child can use this room at any time during the event.

Event layout for Ages 5 - 18yrs.:

  • Children in this age group will spend their time doing Open Gym in our big gym.
  • Your child will be given a wristband color that will match the color of one of our amazing coaches! That will be their go-to person for any questions, movie check-in/out, and who will bring them to the lobby for dinner. 
  • Dinner times will range from 5:55 - 6:45 PM and will be assigned on a first-come-first-serve basis.
    • Parents that choose to eat at the event will be given their own wristband and can get their food at any time during the event.
    • Children attending the event will need to listen for their wristband color to be dismissed for dinner. Their assigned coach will also assist in letting them know that it's time to go eat.
  • DJ Party: DJ Drew will be out on the team floor for our DJ Party during the whole event!
  • Movie Night: We will have a fun, child-friendly movie playing in Studio 1 & 2 throughout the event. Your child will just need to check-out with their designated coach whenever they want to go relax in the movie room.

What is the Tricks & Kicks Competition?

Our Blaine/Ham Lake and Anoka/Ramsey competitive gymnasts, dancers, and cheerleaders are competing to see who can raise the most money for the fight against childhood cancer!

Jam Hops' gymnasts will be testing out their balance and seeing how long they can hold a handstand for, while our dancers will be testing their strength to see how many kicks they can do. Their handstand time/kick amount will be added to the total amount of donations they raise and the winners in each group will get to pie their coach in the face!

The team who raises the highest average dollar amount per kid will get to select a fun team prize! They will also be crowned as the 2023 Fundraiser G.O.A.T (Greatest Of All Time) until next year, when they will get to compete for the title and G.O.A.T trophy again. 

How can I order a limited time T-shirt?

T-shirts can be pre-ordered online starting January 16th and will be available for pick up starting February 11th (at the Date Night for a Cause event). On the 13th, they will be available to pick up from the Customer Care Desk of your selected location. Keep an eye on our home page to access the order form. 

Can i purchase a t-shirt at the event?

Yes, there will be a limited supply of t-shirts available to purchase at the event. 

if i choose to purchase pizza, can i participate in the event?

You may hang out in the movie room and the viewing area, but will not be allowed onto the gym floor unless you are with your preschool athlete.
