Cheer classes are held at our Anoka/Ramsey location.
Students will work on stunt technique and form as well as practicing jumps, motions, dance, and basic floor tumbling skills! Strength and conditioning skills will help develop the strength and endurance needed to be able to achieve cheer skills. Children will progress in levels as they master all skills for their level.
Whether students are new to cheer or have been in cheer before, our class is a great way to improve skills and learn new skills!
Intro to cheer is a class geared at encouraging growth in a safe environment while learning the fundamentals of cheer. Athletes will learn the fundamentals of tumbling, jumps, and stunting. In the spring and summer months athletes can expect to learn several cheers and chants.
Cheer 1 (6+): In this 60 minute class participants will learn the fundamentals of all things cheerleading! Coaches will teach cheer jumps, motions, cheers, and stunts at each individual’s pace. This class will also introduce tumbling targeted at safety and proper technique.
Cheer 2: Once participants have mastered the skills taught in Cheer 1 they will be eligible to move into Cheer 2. In this 60 minute class participants will begin to learn higher level stunts, more advanced motions, double jumps, cheers, chants, and work towards spotted tumbling.
Cheer 3: Once participants have mastered the skills taught in Cheer 2 they will be eligible to move into Cheer 3. In this 60 minute class participants will continue to learn advanced stunts, more advanced motions, double and triple jumps, cheers, chants, and work towards more elite tumbling.
Cheer 4: Once participants have mastered the skills taught in Cheer 3 they will be eligible to move into Cheer 4. In this 60 minute class participants will continue to learn elite stunts, more advanced motions, cheers, chants, a cheer dance, and practice and progress to elite tumbling.

In this 5 week class, participants will focus on tumbling skills often found in a high school cheer routine and on UCA/NCA Cheerleading Score Sheets. Participants can expect to improve their skills, while gaining the strength and body control for higher level tumbling skills. Session fee $83 Members, $97 Non-Members
